2018 Workshop Announcement
NCAR's Climate and Global Dynamics Laboratory is pleased to announce its 23rd Annual CESM Workshop being held at the Center Green Auditorium from 18 - 20 June 2018.
This year's workshop will be a combination of plenary presentations, special interest presentations by the CESM working groups, and a poster session for participants to highlight their work.
We hope you'll join us this summer in Boulder!
Registration will once again be opened in three phases:
- Phase I: General attendees who need travel assistance;
- Phase II: CAB and SSC members and Working Group co-chairs;
- Phase III: NCAR staff, and general attendees.
Dates for when these phases open and close are sent out to the CESM Participant email list [Subscribe Here]
Registration will close on Friday, 18 May 2018
$125.00 | Registration Closed
Working group co-chairs will select talks and posters from the submitted list. The talks will be chosen based on the goals and program of each particular working group session.
Because the space that we have available for the poster session is finite, we cannot guarantee that a presentation request will be granted. If you are chosen to present a poster, please check the agenda, and be available during the poster session for comments and questions. Posters will be available for viewing for the remainder of the workshop. Posters must fit a 4' x 4' space. Push pins will be provided for you.
We have a limited number of funds to assist those who would not otherwise be able to attend the workshop. This year we can only support lodging.
Please request travel assistance in the on-line registration by registering in Phase I that opens the week of 12 March 2018. Those who have requested travel assistance will be notified of their status by mid-April.
Please let us know ASAP about cancellations. Registration fees will not be refunded after 18 May 2018.
All information will be dispensed via the CESM Participant email list. We encourage you to sign yourself up on this list, so you don't miss anything [Subscribe Here]
We are not able to provide interpreters for international participants. Some participants may wish to bring their families along. We will do our best to accommodate these requests.
